Hillside School has four separate residences providing a high standard of accommodation for up to 27 young people on a 52-week basis.
These are known as: The Cottage, The House, Forthview and Westwood
Each has its own staff group, including residential care staff, houseparent, cook, and waking night staff.
The comfortable, single-bedded rooms are well furnished and young people are encouraged to personalise their room. Each young person has a small safe for securing valuable items.
Each residence has its own lounge, games room, dining room and utility area. They are welcoming and homely, and Wi-Fi is available throughout.
There are resources for young people to develop life skills, including cooking, laundry, personal finance and preparation for greater independence.
