SUPPORTING FAMILIES
A self-contained two-bedroom family flat is provided to support on-site visits from families, where home leave is not possible.
The flat provides safe and appropriate living and sleeping accommodation for young people to enjoy time with their families. Our staff team works closely with young people and their families to help restore relationships and build trust. This may involve providing help and support, encouraging family learning and supporting transitions.
Additionally, families are invited to join our well-established and active Parent and Carer Group.
This group provides parents and carers with an opportunity to meet others, shape developments in the service, and attend information sessions.
